| dc.description.abstract | We report a case of spontaneous renal cyst rupture which ended up as a life threatening retroperitoneal hematoma. A 61 year-old female patient was admitted to our Department suffering from severe left flank pain due to massive hemorrhage caused by a left renal cyst rupture possibly after a laparoscopic intervention. Spontaneous renal cyst rupture is a very rare event but it may be a life threatening condition when it is associated with massive bleeding. | en_US |
