Kırdan kente göçün eğitim ile ilişkisi: Muğla örneği

Abstract

Göç, hem cari hem de beklenen gelirle bağlantılı olduğu için ekonomik faktörlerin yanında devletin izlediği makroekonomik istikrar ve kalkınma politikalarından da etkilenen çok boyutlu bir yapıya sahip bulunmaktadır. Bu çok boyutlu yapıda göç edilen yerdeki barınma imkanları, aile yapısı ve eğitim gibi faktörler de göç kararını etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada, kırdan kente göçün eğitim ile ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Eğitim, göç üzerinde pozitif etkiye sahiptir. Bu açıdan, göç kararının alınmasında Muğla ve civardaki köylülerin eğitim durumları, ekonomik getiri farklılığı kadar önemli olmaktadır.

The migration has a multi-dimensional structure which is affected from the macroeconomic stability and development policies followed by the state besides the economic factors regarding the current and expected revenue. The factors such as the accommodation opportunity, the family structure and education in the migration area have an impact on the decision to migrate. In this study, the relationship between the education and the rural-urban migration is examined. The education has a positive impact on migration. From this point of view, the education conditions of Mugla and adjacent villages are as important as differences in economic return, considering the decision to migrate.
