Cardiac Resynchronization Treatment Upgrade is An Alternative Treatment Option for Resistant Ventricular Tachycardia After Double Valve Replacement
Özet
Ventricular tachycardia (VT) episodes may be fatal in patients with low ejection fraction. Current guidelines recommend implantable cardioverter defibrillator implantation after optimal medical treatment for these patients. Catheter ablation therapies should be considered in recurrent VT episodes. However, treatment options are limited in patients who cannot undergo catheter ablation. Hereby, we present a patient who had low ejection fraction, aortic and mitral valve replacement history with recurrent episodes of VT, and was not able to be planned invasive catheter ablation.
