FIBROMATOSIS OF PAROTID GLAND: A RARE LOCALIZATION

Abstract

Desmoid tumors are rare, histologically benign but local aggressive tumors that belong to the group of the deep fibromatosis. They are usually seen in abdominal region but rarely could be located in the head and neck. We report a case who was operated with the diagnosis of fibro-matosis and discuss the etiology, clinical presentation, pathology and various treatment mo-dalities.
