Abstract

A case of mushroom poisoning by false morel, Gyromitra esculenta (Pers.) Fr. (Ascomycetes), in Denizli, Turkey, is reported and documented. A short description of the taxon, case of poisoning, and taxonomic discussions of G. esculenta is presented.
