Merendera figlalii (Colchicaceae), a new species from southwestern Anatolia, Turkey

Abstract

Merendera figlalii Varol sp. nov. is described from the Sandras Dag (C2: Mugla province) in Turkey. It is related to M. trigyna (Steven ex Adam) Stapf, from which it mainly differs in its longer tunic neck and the shorter, non-auriculate limb of the perianth segments.
